Notes:  Victor Emanuel Reid was the ninth child of John and Charlotte Reid nee Green, he married Josephine Florence (Annie)  Waldron in 1904 and they had five children. A tall redhaired man he worked for Willoughby Council and was also a Volunteer Fireman. At a ceremony at Willoughby Fire Station on 08/12/1924, Vic Reid was one of four Volunteer Firemen  presented with a gold watch and chain in recognition of their service to the Municipality of Willoughby.

When Vic Reid retired after thirty-eight years service with the Council as a Ganger and Volunteer Fireman he was again presented with a gold watch which his family still has in safe keeping. Vic and Annie Reid in later life retired to Toukley on the NSW Central Coast.  Vic’s wife, was known as both Annie and sometimes, Florrie Reid, nee Waldron.
